Child Safety & CSAE Policy

Wister ("we", "us", "our") is committed to the safety and protection of children. This policy outlines our standards and procedures regarding child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) prevention.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

Wister maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We are dedicated to creating a safe environment and take immediate action against any content or behavior that endangers minors.

2. Prohibited Content and Behavior

The following are strictly prohibited on Wister and will result in immediate action:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Any sexual content depicting or involving minors, including images, videos, text, or AI-generated material
• Grooming: Any behavior intended to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, including but not limited to soliciting personal information, arranging meetings, or sending inappropriate messages
• Sexual exploitation: Any form of sexual exploitation of individuals under 18, including solicitation, coercion, or trafficking
• Solicitation: Requesting, sharing, or distributing sexual content involving minors
• Sexualization of minors: Any content that sexualizes or objectifies minors, even if no explicit material is involved
• Sextortion: Threatening to distribute intimate images of a minor to coerce, intimidate, or extort

3. Age Restriction

Wister is intended for users aged 18 and above. We enforce the following measures:

• Account creation requires SMS verification of a mobile phone number
• Users must confirm their date of birth during registration
• Users under 16 cannot create an account
• Users aged 16–17 may use the App only with verifiable parental or guardian consent and cannot access financial features (Ruby purchases, Gift Repurchase Program)
• We reserve the right to implement additional age verification measures as required by applicable law or platform policies

If we become aware that a user has provided a false date of birth or that a child under 16 has created an account, we will take immediate steps to suspend the account and delete all associated personal data.

4. Reporting

We encourage all users to report any content or behavior that may endanger children. Reports can be submitted through the following channels:

4.1 In-App Reporting

Users can report accounts and content directly within the Wister app. To report a user:

1. Open the chat or profile of the user you want to report
2. Tap the menu icon (three dots)
3. Select "Report Contact"
4. Choose the appropriate reason and submit your report

4.2 Email Reporting

For child safety concerns, you may also contact us directly:

When reporting, please include as much detail as possible, including usernames, screenshots, and a description of the concerning behavior. All reports are treated as confidential.

5. Enforcement Actions

All reports involving potential CSAE are reviewed promptly. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

Action	Description
Content removal	Immediate removal of any content that violates this policy
Account suspension	Temporary suspension of the offending account pending investigation
Account termination	Permanent termination of the account and deletion of all associated data
Law enforcement referral	Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities and organizations such as NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) or equivalent national authorities, as required by applicable law
Evidence preservation	Preservation of relevant evidence for law enforcement purposes, in compliance with applicable legal requirements

6. Detection and Prevention

Wister employs the following measures to detect and prevent CSAE on our platform:

• User reporting system: In-app reporting tools accessible from any chat or user profile
• Content moderation: Reports are reviewed by our moderation team and escalated as necessary
• Account restrictions: Age-based access controls and financial feature restrictions for minors
• Collaboration with authorities: We cooperate with law enforcement agencies and child safety organizations when required

7. Legal Compliance

Wister complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding child safety, including but not limited to:

• EU Directive 2011/93/EU on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography
• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions on the protection of children's personal data (Article 8)
• Greek Law 3727/2008 on the protection of minors from sexual abuse and exploitation
• Google Play Developer Policy on child safety and CSAE prevention
• 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (REPORT Act) requirements for electronic service providers, where applicable
